53% Petit Verdot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot , aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in July 2007. Released in January 2008. Nose – True to its Virginia roots, this wine displays hints of tobacco. Slight cedar and black sherry scents add to its complex nose.Taste – A wine with mild tannins and medium weight, it exhibits rich berry flavors and should age gracefully for several years Food Pairing – Will pair well with pork, lamb and veal dishes.
